Description
Day 1: Foundations It examines the history, philosophy, and goals of environmental education, defining key concepts and the role of educators in promoting ecological literacy.
Day 2: Environmental Crises Focus on the science of climate change (causes, impacts, solutions) and biodiversity loss (threats and conservation strategies), aiming to integrate them into the school curriculum.
Day 3: Practical Sustainability The focus is on green school initiatives (energy saving, waste reduction, water management) and the importance of community engagement to promote local sustainability, encouraging students to lead environmental projects.
Day 4: Teaching Methodologies Exploration of student-centered pedagogical approaches such as inquiry-based and project-based learning. It discusses the use of technology, multimedia, and outdoor learning, as well as the evaluation of existing educational resources.
Day 5: Action Plan and Network Participants develop individual action plans to integrate environmental education.

Materials, Digital Tools & Other Learning Resources
Course materials include official UN resources, and curated online toolkits. We will use digital collaboration tools like Miro and Google Classroom to co-create projects. Participants will explore online platforms and apps that promote sustainability awareness (e.g., SDG-related games, carbon footprint calculators).
